This book is very inspirational. Its like a book of guidance through life. I love how the author tells us about some of her experiences and the prayers and self reflecting questions. After reading this book it gave me a sense of more peace. And even thought I know who God is this book helped me to keep the fate even in toughest situations. Reclaiming Me! This book was gifted to me at the booksigning on Saturday August 15th. The booksigning was amazing by the way! On the next Monday I decided to pick it up. Well needless to say I could not put it down. I expected to read a book, instead I felt like I was having a conversation with a friend that needed a listening 👂 ear. When I stop listening I was in chapter sixteen already. I could hardly wait to continue the conversation the next day! Laqiulla Vanessa Brown this is a great story. Reading Reclaiming Me was a very personal experience for me. As her mother, I know some of her story, but reading it through her eyes allowed me to see and understand things in a different way. There were also moments when I found myself within the pages. The parts about enduring in silence especially spoke to me because I could relate to carrying things quietly while continuing to move forward.

I especially loved the Bible scriptures throughout the book and the reflection questions at the end of the chapters. The questions made me stop and think about my own experiences and recognize some things within myself. I didn’t feel like I was only reading her story—I was reflecting on parts of my own.

I am proud of my daughter for having the courage to share her truth, but I also believe this book can help other women see themselves within these pages just as I did. It reminds you that even after difficult seasons, there is still room for healing, growth, and reclaiming yourself.

Must say this is an great book to have. I Love the way she could share part of her life with the world love how she broke down the meaning of what she was talking about and how she expressed the different between the meaning.I also love the Bible verses and prayers she put in it.Am happy that she spoke her truth with the world and also helped a lot of people feel like they can do the same so if you want book that you can cozy up to and sip your tea then this is it so I the author for doing a great job.
